The emergence of new epochs on Earth will necessitate a new type of human being capable of navigating the turbulent waters of contemporary challenges and creating new solutions based on the spiritual principles of harmony, balance, and respect for life. At this time on Earth, many souls are spiritually awakening and coming to understand and experience their own unique and divine spiritual origins in greater depth.
A new path is forged within the body, mind, emotions, and consciousness when a soul in human form begins to awaken and recognize its inner connection with spirit. Many new questions arise as the awakened human begins to experience a greater depth of communion with spirit. One of the most important questions asked by the soul is "why am I here?" and "why did Spirit create me?"
For some on the spiritual path, an inner understanding of divine soul purpose emerges early on, guiding and supporting them in the directions required for optimal growth and manifestation of their life's work.
For others, knowledge of divine soul purpose eludes the human embodied self for an extended period of time, necessitating a period of "walking in the desert" with little perceived external or internal support. This period of seeking is purposeful on the part of the soul, but it may cause intense suffering for the embodied human self, who may feel emptiness, meaninglessness, and concern that they are headed in the wrong direction.
The manifestation of your soul's divine purpose is as unique and valuable as you are. The best way to discover the driving force behind your life's purpose is to examine your deepest desires, dreams, aspirations, hopes, and longings.
Spirit meticulously and uniquely fashioned you for the sacred purpose you embody. Consider the beauty of a newborn baby, the value of their tiny fingers and toes, and the sweetness of their eyes. We can clearly see the divine blueprint of the soul in the radiance of their pure and simple being. In the same way, you are created uniquely for your spiritual purpose, with Spirit's infinite wisdom and grace accounting for every finger, toe, and hair on your head.
Even at a very young age, children naturally begin to embody their soul purpose. They are drawn to particular individuals and circumstances, and they relate to their environment in their own unique way. They may enjoy animals, drawing and painting, playing with cars and trucks, treating neighborhood cats, or leading groups of children on the playground. They may enjoy singing and dancing, or they may be voracious readers or computer tinkerers. If allowed to flourish and expand, a child's natural tendencies will lead to the manifestation of their divine soul purpose.
And what about us adults, who may have been raised in less-than-ideal conditions where our natural tendencies were not encouraged? Perhaps we have forgotten what we enjoyed doing most as children, or perhaps even considering this brings back painful memories of what we endured as children. How can our divine soul purpose be discovered?
It may be reassuring to realize that you have not lost anything, even if you have lost touch with your inner desires. Even in the most difficult of circumstances, your heart's deepest yearning is never extinguished. This is an eternal soul quality that will lead to the manifestation of your soul's purpose.
If you feel uninspired and disconnected from your divine soul purpose, you can reconnect with your inner being through prayer and the creation of a sacred intention.
The prayer and intention activate a healing path that will lead you to your desired outcome. If you have been disconnected from yourself for an extended period of time, you may experience intense grief or pain as the connection is restored. If you can breathe and be with these emotions without repressing them, but rather by simply holding them in divine light, you will experience healing and a release of inner space.
The discovery of your divine soul's purpose lies within the desires of your heart. What do you desire most intensely? If you had the ability to do anything in the world, what would you do? As you begin to take actions based on your heart's calling, the path to manifesting your unique gifts in the world will expand outwards. Your true life's work consists of listening, following, sharing your gifts, and manifesting all that you are in the physical world. You came to Earth at this time in order to share everything you are with all life.
