Tarot astrology is the method by which a reading of the cards in a tarot deck aids you in navigating difficult times by providing insight into your past, present, and future. As each card corresponds to a planet, element, or astrological sign, tarot and astrology are closely related.
The use of Tarot cards for divination, also known as fortune telling, is common. However, many psychologists have also used them, believing that the cards prompt patients to examine their own feelings. This is performed by the subconscious. For instance, suppose you are aware that work is not going well, but you do not allow yourself to dwell on this fact. A deck of 78 tarot cards is divided into two distinct categories. The initial section is known as the Major Arcana. Numerous are well-known, including the Magician (associated with Mercury), the Lovers (associated with Gemini), and the Death card (associated with Scorpio).
The Minor Arcana contains the remaining 56 cards. Arcana is derived from the Latin word for secret, akanum. As with conventional playing cards, the Minor Arcana is divided into four suits. These are the four suits: Cups, Wands, Swords, and Pentacles. Each of these cards represents a different element of the Earth and is associated with a distinct constellation. The Cups are symbolic of water and are most closely associated with Cancer, Scorpio, and Pisces. Cups represent feelings, spirituality, and the unconscious. The Wands are associated with Aries, Leo, and Sagittarius, as they represent fire. The Wands represent action, creativity, and personal development. The Swords are associated with the air signs Libra, Gemini, and Aquarius. The Swords represent the intellect, wisdom, and mind. The final suit, the Pentacles, is associated with Taurus, Virgo, and Capricorn and represents the earth itself. The Pentacles represent the body, bodily experiences, and usefulness. In addition to the four suits, there are also King, Queen, Prince, and Princess Court cards for each suit.
The Minor Arcana cards contain more information than the Major Arcana. The Major Arcana provides guidance and information about an individual's personal life and emotional and mental state. The Minor Arcana cards provide additional guidance in such areas as relationships, activities, failures, and successes. The Major Arcana cards are perceived to be more spiritual, whereas the Minor Arcana cards are perceived to be more material.
The interpretation of the cards has evolved over time. Modern tarot card decks are significantly more expressive than their predecessors, in part because the images are more inclusive and closely associated with their meaning. As they are regarded as sacred tools, tarot card readers frequently forbid others from handling their decks. Numerous card sets are frequently viewed as works of art due to the intricate images on each card.
